Coming off the heels of a very successful US tour supporting Mastodon and Clutch, Swedish psych rockers Graveyard have announced details about their forthcoming album. The band released the following statement today via their official Facebook page:
Hey, here’s some news for you!
We’ve got a new album coming your way in September called Innocence & Decadence. It’s gonna be an album filled to the rim with a little bit of this – and for all of those who might wonder or worry – there will be quite a lot of that on it as well. We’ve had a great time recording the album at the “gemytliga” Atlantis Studios in Stockholm together with Janne Hansson and Johan Lindström. And after kinda being away from our daily routine as a touring band and the thrill of a new album on its way ….. we wanna leave you with.
Good to be gone, great to be back and let there be September!
Axel, Joakim, Jonathan & Truls – aka Graveyard
This is some VERY exciting news and those that know me know that I am without a doubt doing a huge fucking happy dance over this news. While I don’t have details about it, I do know that Graveyard will be embarking on a lengthy headlining tour behind this album that will once again bring them back over to American soil. If you didn’t get a chance to check out the band with their new/old member on bass guitar Truls Morck, rest assured that this lineup is bringing it in a huge way. As more details become available about this release, I will have them for you all right here!
