California instrumentalists (and Brainfart faves) LoNero have been tapped as the backing band for former Iron Maiden frontman Paul DiAnno’s upcoming North American tour. DiAnno and LoNero hit the road for their US tour through December 2012 and January 2013. Dianno had this to say about the tour:
“With much excitement,” he introduces his “new super cool American band, LONERO. They have so many damn amazing recordings, that it is almost impossible to pick my favourite. They’ll also be the opening band for the show, playing their own set.”
In 2011, LoNero released their album “J.F.L” which made the Brainfart’s Top Albums of 2011 list. In addition to preparing for the upcoming DiAnno tour, LoNero are currently working on new material for their follow up album to JFL.
