Skid Row Signs with Megaforce Records to Release “United World Rebellion: Chapter 1”

Skid Row has announced that they have inked a new record deal with the legendary Megaforce Records.  Skid Row has been putting on some of their best shows this year and being that this line up is so fucking awesome, I’m happy to see that they are not out of ideas.

The band will release their new EP “UNITED WORLD REBELLION – Chapter One” on April 16th release in North America with an international release date to be announced shortly.  To coincide with the release, the band will embark on a world tour beginning April 4th in Ipswitch, England. This will carry them through the UK along with stops in the Czech Republic, Sweden, Mexico and Korea just to name a few. In the coming months this will be followed by a full-on North American tour. Personally, I couldn’t be more excited about this news but why an EP and not a full length album?

Rachel Bolan explained, “We wanted to do something different. Living in an age of information overload it seemed like the perfect time to try something new. We came up with the idea to release 3 consecutive EP’s over the course of the next year or so. This way we have new music out there on a consistent basis.  And who better to do that with than Megaforce? They practically invented the EP! United World Rebellion – Chapter One ROCKS!”
