Local Atlanta videographer (and good friend of The Great Southern Brainfart) Casey Williamson has once again captured a magical performance that everyone should have been there to see. Holy Grail brought their face melting brand of shred metal to Atlanta as part of their “Ride The Void” headlining tour. The band’s electrifying, magical performance was captured on film for all of those that weren’t there to witness this stellar performance.
The performance was shot in black and white due to the extremely low lighting in the venue but managed to create an almost classic 80’s metal vibe. Think of it as a kin to seeing Iron Maiden at Ruskin Arms back in the day. This show particular showed Holy Grail on top of their game and stands as a testament to just how far these guys have come since their inception only a few short years ago. They perform as if they are playing to thousands and they leave it all out on the stage this night. It’s exciting to watch a band grow by leaps and bounds and this is a great moment in time that catches the band at a peak in their performance and musical prowess! Enjoy this one!
