Los Angeles facemelter’s Kyng have FINALLY released some new material. It’s about fucking time because if these guys toured one more fucking time behind 2011’s Trampled Sun I was going to punch someone. Ok, I’m just fucking kidding but all joking aside, a new Kyng album is something that I have been looking forward to for a while and it looks like it’s going to happen sooner than later!
For anyone who’s seen Kyng live before knows that this is a band that knows how to not only deliver an amazing live performance but they also have the chops and the songs to really blow minds and turn heads. Trampled Sun was without a doubts one of my favorite albums of 2011 and that album still gets a lot of spins here at Casa de Brainfart so it’s so exciting to know that I will soon be adding Burn the Serum (Razor & Tie ) to my collection.
The first single from the album is the title track “Burn the Serum.” Kyng’s Eddie Veliz explains the song, “‘Burn the Serum’ is one of the best songs that the guys and I have written so far. It’s extremely honest in the subject matter and the riff.”
Burn the Serum (Razor & Tie) will be released on April 15.
