Kyng bassist/forming member Tony Castaneda announced his departure from the band after 12 years with the band. Castaneda, via his Facebook page, announced:
Greetings,
Perusing a career as a musician has been a long and exciting journey for me. After doing it for 12+ years, I feel it’s time for a (temporary) change. With that being said, I am announcing my departure as the bassist/back vox from Kyng. I’ve made & met a lot of fans, and I will forever be grateful and indebted to everyone who has helped and supported me along the way. To my band mates/brothers, I wish them the best of luck in keeping the band rolling. I am not sure what the future holds for me, but I welcome it with open arms.
With peace and love,
Tony Castaneda
While this is a bummer to hear, I wish my brother Tony nothing but the bust. May the future hold nothing but the best for you and your new adventures in life! Thanks for the great years of holding down the bass in one of my favorite bands!
