Silent Rage/Lost Angels Bassist EJ Curse & Friends Harass Restaurant Employees Because That’s What Washed Up Rockers Do Best…

I just have to say that I LOVE the fucking internet.  If anything, it’s because I love seeing shitty people and their friends get exposed for being shitty people.  The shitty people I’m talking about are Silent Rage/Lost Angels bassist EJ Curse and his friends Steve Motta and Gigi Tangradi.  This pack of winners were recently caught on video bullying employees at an eatery in Palm Springs, CA.

Shortly after this video went viral on the Social Media platform TikTok, Curse, Motta, and Tangradi had all either deleted or locked down all of their social media accounts… but not before TikTok sleuth known as rXorcist could track them all down and identify them. 

EJ Curse whose real name is Ernie J. Curcio (lol, Ernie) was at a Palm Springs, Ca. restaurant called I Heart Mac and Cheese recently when Ernie and his friends were filmed leaving the establishment as their classy female companion, Gigi Tangradi, threw cans of soda at the employees behind the counter and wrecking havoc before walking out of the place.  While Ernie wasn’t captured on camera doing anything, he was caught on camera walking out in a huff while Ms. Gigi threw her tantrum and did nothing to even try and contain the situation.

Not only is Mr. Ernie the bassist for failed hard rockers Silent Rage and for some cover band called Lost Angels, you may also remember him from his leading role in the blockbuster film, Hard Rock Zombies.  Maybe this is why the guy hangs out with people that tear up Mac and Cheese places for fun.

EJ Curse is associated with other musicians such as Ryan Roxie (Alice Cooper), Gilby Clarke (Guns N’ Roses), Eric Dover (ex-Jellyfish and Slash’s Snakepit), to name a few.  I’m curious to know if these guys know what kind of jerk this guy and his friends are and if they are aware, I’ll have to assume that maybe they’re not much better than him?  Who knows but the point is, I just gave some guy named EJ Curse press for being a shitty guy.  Now, those who never knew this guy even existed with only know him as THIS and ya know what?  I’m ok with that.

I get that they didn’t tell you in a reasonably timely way that you would not get dinner after waiting for some time, but rather than complaining to a manager or telling them that you were posting about their unprofessional behavior on Yelp like what most hangry angry people would probably do, you did… what showed up on that video. Not cool, especially to service industry employees who get very little pay and personal power to begin with. Ask yourself if they get positive attention or fans, and imagine living your life without positive feedback. That rage was not silent. Woah.

    It was good that you apologized, but unfortunately that’s the bare minimum for someone in the public eye. The thing is, you have been in the public eye since your days as a model.

    I am not saying that you didn’t work for what you have, but you also had some good fortune. Do you think that those servers could stand in for Hercules in a stage show? Do you think any of them live close enough that they’d get the job if it were available? Do any of them have musical talent? Maybe? But it’s not the ‘80s or ‘90s and there is a different path to a sustainable career. It’s easier to get a foot in the door, but it’s harder to fully walk through the door.

    Even if someone in food service at the mac & cheese place had the advantages you had when you were just starting out, it’s not the same world. There has always been inequity in the world, but if you’re attempting to live a life with integrity and empathy, it’s important to recognize and understand that.

    Are you just going through life and doing enough to soak up admiration and a paycheck? If and when you give back, is it just for ego gratification, good PR, or as an apology?

    My challenge to you is this:
    1. Do three good things just to bring good into the world. Not for any personal gain.
    2. Find out the goals and dreams of the scared-looking employees in that video and see if you can positively impact their lives with any help or connections. This cannot be part of 1. but you can also tell people.

    I am issuing this challenge because you made the claims of integrity and empathy. Stand by those.

    Recently, there was an incident at a restaurant to which I responded in an inappropriate manner. I want to make it clear that soon after the event, I took responsibility and reached out to the owner of the establishment to apologize. I have been working with the establishment to resolve the matter privately.

    Although there is no excuse for my behavior, there obviously is a backstory as to what led to my reaction. Regardless, I would like to apologize to the innocent staff members. Also, my sincere apologies to my innocent friends, band members and associates who have been targeted through social media. I acted alone in my behavior. No one else should be held accountable.

    I accept responsibility. I will continue to grow & to learn from my mistakes. I want my friends, family and fans to know that this misguided moment does not reflect my true character and does not align with my values. My passion in life has always been to bring joy and love through music. I will continue to do so, & also to lead a life of empathy & integrity.

    1. Your behavior was unacceptable I was not even being adult. You look like a spoiled little child walking out of there because you couldn’t get service fast enough figuring you’re a rockstar. Your female companion there with a piece of work throwing cans of soda to try to harm employees vandalize the establishment terrible. The only reason you sent your apology out is cuz you were identified.

    1. I know right? I am curious to see how this ends up for home. I’m pretty sure the classy lady he was hanging with will go to jail and she’ll make some long winded apology or something. All of them are scum.
