Los Angeles based old school Metalers White Wizzard have announced yet another line up change. Founding member Jon Leon, guitarist Chad Bryan and drummer Giovanni Durst have recruited singer and former CELLADOR frontman Michael Gremio, along with new lead guitarist and Welsh native Lewis Stephens.
Former Lead Singer Wyatt “Screamin’ Deamon” Anderson and guitarist Erik Kluiber left the band following a UK Tour with Edguy. This is the 3rd singer that will be fronting White Wizzard and one can only hope this guy will stick around. Anderson did such a stellar job on this years “Over The Top” release and I was so psyched to see them tour. I hope this new guy really brings it and puts White Wizzard on the right track.
White Wizzard formed in 2007 and recording the EP “High Speed GTO.” After a brief period of touring the 3 of White Wizzard’s members left to form the band Holy Grail leaving bassist/founder/songwriter Jon Leon the soul original member of the band. He assembled the last line up to record 2010’s “Over The Top” which featured the now departed Wyatt “Screamin’ Deamon” Anderson on vocals.
White Wizzard’s newest line up will be opening Download Festival’s Ronnie James Dio Stage on Sunday, June 13 at 11 a.m.
