Following a blistering set at UK’s Download Festival at Castle Donnington, old school Metal kings White Wizzard have announced that they will be going back as Headliners. White Wizzard debuted their new additions of former Cellador vocalist Michael Gremio and new lead guitarist Lewis Stephens. Gremeio and Stephens were drafted in to replace singer Wyatt Anderson and guitarist Erik Kluiber who left the band after completing a UK tour opening for Edguy.
White Wizzard bassist and founding member Jon Leon had this to say about the upcoming tour:
“We are really excited to come back and do our first headline tour in the U.K. and Ireland. We’re excited to visit all the great places we played with Edguy and to see the fans again, and to play some new places as well. Look forward to seeing you all there!”
This line up change marks the 3rd major lineup change in the bands short history so hopefully this one can work. I’ve heard a lot of folks giving Jon Leon shit about all the line up changes but hey, I got two words for you: Iron Maiden. When things don’t work you make changes that make things work. Either way, I am behind Jon 100% and his vision to bring us some amazing music from White Wizzard. I wish him and the new guys nothing but the best of luck!
