Ever since I first heard Symphony X vocalist Russel Allen on the Avantasia albums, I knew I had heard one of my new favorite singers. Right away I went and picked up a copy of Symphony X’s “Paradise Lost” and I was totally melted. I figured that since they had announced a European tour not too long ago that they must be prepping a new album and US tour.
Symphony X has announced their 2011 Headlining North American tour which will also feature Seattle’s Nevermore, Soilwork from Sweden, Boston‘s Powerglove, and Blackguard from Montreal. The trek will launch on April 21st in Philadelphia and wrap-up on West Springfield, Virginia on May 22nd. SYMPHONY X are currently recording their Nuclear Blast debut and follow-up to 2007’s Paradise Lost.
